Write for Us Technology

At Top Media Outreach , we spotlight the minds building tomorrow. Our platform connects breakthrough ideas with the executives, founders, and engineers who turn them into reality. If your analysis shapes conversations or your tutorials become team playbooks, we want to feature your work.

We publish expert voices, not press releases. Our readers come for perspectives they can’t find elsewhere.

What Gets Our Attention

We prioritize contributions that change how people work or think. Your pitch should pass one test:

“Would a senior engineer or tech leader bookmark this?”

Current topics our audience engages with:

  • AI Implementation, Not Theory: Shipping real generative AI products, cost analysis of model inference, or building evaluation frameworks teams actually use.
  • Infrastructure Decisions: Kubernetes at scale, managing cloud spend, or the real trade-offs between serverless and containers.
  • Security for Modern Stacks: Securing API-first architectures, IAM strategies that don’t slow development, or incident post-mortems with lessons.
  • Developer Velocity: Tools and processes that actually improve sprint outcomes, managing technical debt in fast-growing codebases, or effective platform engineering.
  • Business of Tech: Monetizing open-source projects, pricing model breakdowns, or navigating enterprise sales cycles as a technical founder.

What we don’t run: Generic listicles (“5 Benefits of Cloud Computing”), product promotions, or repurposed blog posts. We look for originality only.

How to Structure a Winning Pitch

Our editorial calendar is competitive. A strong pitch cuts through the noise.

  1. The Hook (Subject Line & Opening)
    • Weak: “An Article About Blockchain”
    • Strong: “Pitch: How Our Team Saved $70k/Month on AWS ECS Without Rewriting the App”
    • Start your email with the core insight or data point. Lead with value, not credentials.
  2. The Angle (Why Now, Why You)
    • Briefly state why this topic matters right now. Is it a new tool, a shifting regulation, or a widespread pain point?
    • In one sentence, state your direct, hands-on experience. “I led the migration for a 10M user app” beats “I’m an expert in cloud computing.”
  3. The Blueprint (Proposed Outline)
    • Provide 3-4 bullet points as subheadings you’d use. Show you’ve structured the argument.
    • Example:
      • H2: The $70k Alert: Where Our ECS Costs Were Hiding
      • H2: The Two Configuration Changes We Tested (And One That Backfired)
      • H2: Step-by-Step: Auditing Your Task Definition for Waste
      • H2: Metrics to Monitor for Sustained Savings

Editorial Guidelines: The Nitty-Gritty

  • Exclusivity: We require first publication rights. Your article cannot live elsewhere.
  • Length: 1,200 – 2,000 words. Every sentence must earn its place.
  • Tone: Write for a peer who’s intelligent but busy. Be direct. Use the active voice.
  • Evidence: Link to primary sources—GitHub repos, official docs, credible datasets. We fact-check.
  • Author Bio: 40 words maximum. Your current role and one relevant achievement. Link to your LinkedIn or professional site. No promotional links in the body text.

The Submission Process (No Black Boxes)

  1. Send your pitch to editor@yashziqmedia.com.
  2. Our response timeline: If your pitch aligns, you’ll hear back within 72 hours with a provisional ‘yes’ and any framing adjustments. If it’s not a fit, you may receive a brief decline; we can’t provide detailed feedback on every submission due to volume.
  3. Upon acceptance, you’ll get a firm deadline and a shared document to draft in.
  4. The edit cycle: Our editors will work directly in the doc. We focus on clarity, argument strength, and factual accuracy. This is collaborative, not a rubber stamp.
  5. Publication & Promotion: We schedule and publish. You’ll receive the link before it goes live. We promote across our newsletter (XX,XXX subscribers) and professional channels. We expect you to share it within your networks.
